Be alert and present in the now! He's about to do something new!!
Isaiah 43: 16, 18-19
(NIV) "This is what the LORD says— he who made a way through the sea, a path through the mighty waters. 'Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the desert and streams in the wasteland.'"
(MSG)"This is what God says, the God who builds a road right through the ocean, who carves a path through pounding waves. 'Forget about what's happened; don't keep going over old history. Be alert, be present. I'm about to do something brand-new. It's bursting out! Don't you see it? There it is! I'm making a road through the desert, rivers in the badlands.'"
What promise have you been reminded of?
More about "Precious Promises"
God's word is always timely. Just got an email from a friend whose daughter is facing a closed door... a detour on the way. But the family know He is still guiding, still working, still directing.
ReplyDeleteYes! A promise regarding His promises... always timely. Thank you for that reminder!
ReplyDeletePraying, even now, for your friend's family and the closed door. Asking and trusting that God will honor their faith in His perfect plan and leading beyond their wildest imaginations! A new thing...
Hi Donnetta! It's been over a year since I've visited. Even without specifics in mind right now, just witnessing even the notion of precious promise on my dashboard today helps me agree with the timely encouragement of The Word. May God continue to bless and guide us.
ReplyDeleteI enjoy reading God's promise to us. It is an encouragement to me to be reminded of how precious our God is and how much he cares for us. Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteWhat a pleasure it has been to have you stop by again! I enjoyed your visit!
ReplyDeleteI, too, marvel at the timeliness of God's Words to us! Always exactly what we need.
I am also finding such enjoyment and encouragement being reminded of the promises that He has given. Hope you also have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteI like what you said about watching for God to move. How many times do I pray and then forget to watch for Him?
ReplyDeleteI can totally relate. And I wonder how often I have missed seeing Him because I wasn't watching? A lesson I am still learning... daily!
