"For nothing is impossible with God."
These were the last six words Mary heard from the angel that day.
She had just received the news that she was to be the mother of Jesus. She had just learned her cousin Elizabeth was also having a baby. Imagine how her heart must have been trembling as she was taking in all of these words the angel was saying. How could this be? This situation was completely impossible... or not!
Whatever situation you are facing... it is not impossible... with God.
He created the universe. He caused the sea to part for His people. He made water flow from a rock. He dropped food from heaven in the middle of a wilderness. The wind and seas obey Him. He caused a young girl to be pregnant without having ever been with a man.
He sees your situation...
Does it seem impossible? Probably! If you are relying on your own wisdom and strength it probably is. But wait, if God is in it, it is NOT impossible! How do I know?
Because when God is in any given situation... nothing is impossible! The God of the Bible remains the same God of today! He has not and will not change!
Does that mean it will be easy? No. Does that guarantee a swift resolution? Not necessarily. Does it mean you can sit back and relax without action? I doubt it.
However, regardless of your situation and what lies ahead, the promise remains...
Nothing is impossible with God!
God specializes in the impossible.
