Goodbye to Our Country Kitty

It has only been a couple of weeks since we lost our country kitty. When he first came to our home we thought he was a she. Poor guy!

We had him just a little over one year. We have such fond memories of him.

He seemed to have been especially taken with our little guy. Anytime the little guy was out in his play yard, country kitty would be found right with him.

In fact, it seemed anytime our little guy was outside, country kitty was right with him. They were becoming quite the buddies.

Our country kitty was hit by a car. We did not have the funds to spend in an effort to restore his health. We were gifted by our vet.

Our vet is also our neighbor and apparently had taken to country kitty as well. He provided care for our country kitty for a very minimal fee in an effort to give him a chance to pull through.

Sadly, he was injured too badly. We went to the vet to say our goodbye's and stayed with him while they put him to sleep.

Our family as well as the staff at the vet clinic were all saddened by the loss of country kitty.

  1. Oh Donnetta, I am so sorry. I know they are just animals to some people, but our pets are part of our family. They are one thing that stays the same when we pick up and move yet again.

Praying for peace for your entire family.

  8. I'm so sorry! It is really hard to have a pet die because they are just so easy to be attached to and so loyal and supportive.
