Change. Transform. Become.

Once again I come to this, My Quiet Corner. To be honest, I don't know who all is still waiting to gather. It has been a few days since I have come. Quite a few.

But, for me, it has not been a bad thing.

Although this place has been quiet, my time away has been far from quiet... in my life and in my soul.

I have reconnected with the things of my everyday life.  I have reconnected with myself.  I have reconnected with my God.

It has not been an easy and comfortable time away. There have been some things that have come to light that required and still require some work. My toes are still recovering from being stepped on... if you know what I mean.

But I do not regret it for one minute! Nope.

In order to change, to push forward, to become... things must be recognized. Plans must be put into place.  Sleeves must be rolled up and work must be done. Things must metamorphose...change.

Metamorphose:  to change the form or nature of, to transform.

The admitting, the planning, the working, the changing... it is all good because all He does and all He is... is good.

There are so many things I want to share.  I am excited and working on putting thoughts of my heart and mind from these recent days into words to share with you very soon.

But for today, I sit one more moment in quiet, reflecting on all He has done and all He is doing.

I encourage you to take a moment to sit back and reflect as well.

I would be so encouraged to hear:

What has He done for you in recent days... and what work does He continue to do?

  3. Welcome Back! We missed you.

A break is a lovely, refreshing thing, so don't be afraid to take them as needed!

God is teaching me trust and patience (again). Patience is an ongoing one that keeps cropping up now and then.

He is also encouraging me in studying HIs Word. As BSF starts to wrap up, my husband and I are thinking we are going to study James and 1,2Peter together this summer/fall/as long as it takes. I am really excited.

  5. Great to see you back!! I too went through a season of "Be still and know that I am God!"....resting in His Presence!! I think the many distractions of the world today robs us of all God has for us!! I admire you for putting Him and your family first!!!
